Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you (whether as an individual or business entity) and RoarByte Technology Solutions ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of the Link Salone platform, website, and related services ("Services").

By registering for an account, accessing our platform, or using any of our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use our Services.

By using our Services, you represent and warrant that:

• Age Requirement: You are at least 18 years of age, or if you are between 13 and 18, you have parental consent to use the platform. Users under 13 are not permitted to use Link Salone.
• Legal Capacity: You have the full power and authority to enter into these Terms and to use our Services.
• Business Users: If you are registering a business on Link Salone, you represent that you are authorized to act on behalf of that business and that the business is validly registered in Sierra Leone or your country of operation.
• Compliance: Your use of our Services will comply with all applicable laws and regulations in Sierra Leone and any other jurisdiction where you operate.

To access certain features of our platform, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Accurate Information: Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Account Security: Maintain the security of your account credentials and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
• Single User: Not share your account credentials with others or allow multiple users to access a single account unless explicitly permitted for business accounts.
• Verification: Cooperate with any verification requests we may make, including business verification for commercial accounts.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these requirements or that have been inactive for an extended period.

Link Salone allows businesses to create profiles, list products and services, and engage with customers. When creating or managing a business listing, you agree that:

4.1 Accuracy of Information

• All information about your business, products, and services must be accurate, truthful, and not misleading.
• Pricing information must be clear, including any additional fees or charges applicable to Sierra Leone customers.
• You must promptly update your listing when business information changes.

4.2 Prohibited Content

• You may not list illegal products or services under Sierra Leonean law.
• Counterfeit goods, stolen items, or products infringing on intellectual property rights are prohibited.
• Adult content, hate speech, or discriminatory material is strictly forbidden.

4.3 Customer Interactions

• You are solely responsible for your interactions with customers.
• You must honor transactions initiated through Link Salone.
• You agree to provide customer support for your products and services.

If Link Salone facilitates payments between users, the following terms apply:

5.1 Payment Methods

• Mobile Money: Orange Money, AfriMoney, and other mobile money services available in Sierra Leone.
• Bank Transfers: Direct bank transfers to Sierra Leonean bank accounts.
• Card Payments: Credit/debit cards where available.

5.2 Transaction Fees

• We may charge transaction fees for certain services, which will be clearly disclosed before you complete a transaction.
• Mobile money and payment processor fees may apply and are separate from Link Salone's fees.

5.3 Refunds and Disputes

• Refunds are subject to the refund policy of the individual business, unless otherwise stated.
• We may assist in dispute resolution but are not responsible for transaction disputes between users.
• In case of fraud, report immediately to us and the relevant Sierra Leone authorities.

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Illegal Activities: Violating any Sierra Leonean laws or regulations.
• Fraud: Creating fake business listings, deceptive practices, or financial fraud.
• Harassment: Harassing, abusing, or harming other users.
• Spam: Sending unsolicited messages or advertisements.
• Scraping: Using automated tools to extract data from our platform without permission.
• Impersonation: Pretending to be another person or business.
• Interference: Disrupting the operation of our Services or servers.
• Intellectual Property Theft: Using our content without authorization.

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone engaging in prohibited activities.

7.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Link Salone platform, including its design, logo, graphics, text, software, and underlying technology, is the exclusive property of RoarByte Technology Solutions and is protected by Sierra Leonean and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Services without our express written permission.

7.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you post on Link Salone, including business listings, product descriptions, and images. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content solely for operating and improving our Services.

7.3 User-Generated Content

You are solely responsible for the content you post. We do not endorse and are not responsible for user-generated content. If you believe someone has infringed your intellectual property rights, please contact us with details.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to our Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.

Grounds for termination include:

• Violation of these Terms or our Privacy Policy
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Harassment of other users
• Extended account inactivity
• Upon your request (account deletion)

Upon termination, your right to use our Services will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS.

To the fullest extent permitted by Sierra Leonean law, RoarByte Technology Solutions disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
• That our Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• That the results obtained from using our Services will be accurate or reliable
• That any errors or defects will be corrected

No advice or information obtained by you from us or through our Services shall create any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY SIERRA LEONEAN LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ROARBYTE TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use our Services
• Any conduct or content of any third party on our Services
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data
• Statements or conduct of any third party on our Services
• Any other matter relating to our Services

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of our Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, during the six months preceding any such claim.

13.1 Dispute Resolution

We encourage you to contact us first if you have any concerns. Most disputes can be resolved informally. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, you agree to the following:

• Negotiation: First, attempt to resolve the dispute through good-faith negotiations.
• Mediation: If negotiation fails, we may agree to mediate the dispute through a mutually acceptable mediator in Freetown.
• Jurisdiction: Any legal action shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

13.2 Time Limit for Claims

Any cause of action arising out of or related to these Terms or our Services must commence within one (1) year after the cause of action accrues; otherwise, such cause of action is permanently barred.
